The following are the major projects and community initiatives NewClarity actively supports.
- Atlanta Web Entrepreneurs
- The Atlanta Web Entrepreneurs is a professional development and relationship building group whose goals are to support and empower web-focused entrepeneurs in the greater Metro Atlanta area. NewClarity's president Mike Schinkel is the founder and organizer of The Atlanta Web Entrepreneurs.
- Atlanta Loft Condos
- Atlanta Loft Condos is an information project NewClarity's president Mike Schinkel initiatived in 2000 during his own search for a loft condo in Atlanta. Atlanta Loft Condos has been top-ranked on the Google search results for "Atlanta Lofts" and "Atlanta Condos" for almost the entire time since it was first published to the web.
- Simple Web Services
- Simple Web Services is an initiative to define standards for an ever-growing collection of REST-based web service interfaces for well-known interface needs on the web, and to catalyze the development of open-source clients and servers for those service interfaces. NewClarity's president Mike Schinkel is one of two founding members of the Simple Web Services Initiative.
- Toolicious
- Toolicious is an open-source project designed to give web site owners and content publishers reason to incorporate useful semantic metadata into their websites and at the same time making access to enhanced web features more consistent. NewClarity's president Mike Schinkel is one of two founding members of the Toolicious.
- The Well Designed URLs Initiative
- The Well Designed URLs Initiative is a project comprised of a blog and a wiki that NewClarity's president Mike Schinkel launched in 2006 to advocate for User-Centered URL Design.
